Hosted at Shaheed Hasan Khan Mewati Government Medical College, the evening commenced with a warm welcome to distinguished guests, including Deputy Commissioner Dhirendra Khadgata, followed by a lamp-lighting ceremony. The spotlight then shifted to the Mirasis, hereditary musicians who have safeguarded Mewat's musical traditions for centuries. Sixteen troupes from Mewat and Rajasthan, each contributing their unique flair and tradition, graced the event with their performances.
Their soulful renditions, echoing tales of unity and resilience, captivated the audience. Songs like "Bhedbhaav Ko Duur Karo, Humsab Hain Hindustani Re," a call for unity among all Indians, resonated deeply, highlighting the Mirasis' role as cultural custodians and storytellers.
